I observed some reports in the Buffalo forum about Win 7 systems dropping the drive mappings but no such issues on my WinXP, Vista and Linux Ubuntu systems. My only complaint is the drive access and cover ought to have been built a tiny much more sturdy, that mentioned the unit is quite and sleek seeking. Update 1: The RMA Gadget that was sent as a replacement had a Fan Failure out of the Box. First folders retain disappearing then there are buffering troubles whilst streaming to a DLNA gadget. I have requested for an RMA and its been 15 days and they are but to ship the replacement. After all what excellent is a device if if doesnt perform ! I stand by my earlier evaluation , the item is of very poor high quality and consumer help is 1 of the worst. The item has breathtaking functions but fails to deliver on high quality. .
